Administrative Assistant
JOB PURPOSE AND OVERVIEW
The Housing Court Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing clerical and administrative support for the Court.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION
The following duties indicate the general nature and level of work performed by the Administrative Assistant. They are not designed to contain or be interpreted as a comprehensive inventory of all duties, responsibilities and qualifications required of this position. Other duties may be required or assigned at any time.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to communicate effectively and professionally, verbally and in writing, to diverse audiences.
Knowledge of common office practices, procedures, and equipment.
Proficiency in operating a personal computer and using, or being able to learn, Microsoft Office products such as Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.
Demonstrated dependability, reliability, and excellent attendance record.
Valid Ohio drivers license, reliable vehicle, and vehicle insurance.
Must occasionally lift or push items weighing up to 50 lbs.
Additional consideration will be given to applicants who have any of the following: previous experience working in the Court system, prior experience with court case management systems.
