NOW HIRING: ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT – CREDIT DEPARTMENT

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Administrative Assistant to support the Credit Department. This position is responsible for assisting with administrative tasks, maintaining accurate records, and supporting daily department operations. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced office environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Process cash applications accurately and in a timely manner
  • Verify trade licenses, business addresses, and contact information
  • Forward copies of invoices, statements, and related documentation as needed
  • Complete trade reference requests and maintain proper documentation
  • Scan, upload, and organize documents into customer accounts
  • Confirm and verify tax certificates and related compliance documents
  • Assist with answering a shared group phone line and directing inquiries appropriately
  • Verify and update approved technicians on customer-approved lists
  • Perform general administrative and clerical duties as assigned
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure all data entry is completed with a high level of accuracy

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional office or administrative experience preferred
  • Previous administrative assistant, clerical, or office support experience preferred
  • Strong data entry and computer skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Professional attitude and dependable work ethic
