Minimum Qualifications: ⢠Minimum of a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering ⢠Minimum 5 years of experience with complex electrical design, operations, and maintenance ⢠Recent facility development or management experience supporting mission-critical operations ⢠Experience in subcontract management of suppliers including requests for proposal, specifications, and statements of work ⢠Strong project management, budget management, and team leadership skills ⢠Demonstrated project planning, schedule development, and cost estimation capabilities ⢠Experience meeting ambitious deadlines by prioritizing concurrent tasks, developing work plans, and fostering communication between staff members, vendors, and managers across numerous departments ⢠Strong safety mindset and experience, including hands-on experience planning and conducting hazardous or critical operations. Desired Qualifications: ⢠Florida Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or the ability to obtain FL PE certification in a timely manner ⢠System safety analysis experience including Failure Modes, Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA), Fault Tree Analysis (FTA), and Functional Hazard Analysis (FHA) ⢠Experience with failure investigations ⢠Experience supporting proposal evaluations ⢠Knowledge of systems engineering practices, manufacturing, fabrication and assembly processes, and quality control ⢠Experience with shipyard electrical installation and commissioning ⢠Familiarity with ABS and USCG electrical classification requirements for new construction.
