Minimum Qualifications: • Minimum of a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering • Minimum 5 years of experience with complex electrical design, operations, and maintenance • Recent facility development or management experience supporting mission-critical operations • Experience in subcontract management of suppliers including requests for proposal, specifications, and statements of work • Strong project management, budget management, and team leadership skills • Demonstrated project planning, schedule development, and cost estimation capabilities • Experience meeting ambitious deadlines by prioritizing concurrent tasks, developing work plans, and fostering communication between staff members, vendors, and managers across numerous departments • Strong safety mindset and experience, including hands-on experience planning and conducting hazardous or critical operations. Desired Qualifications: • Florida Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or the ability to obtain FL PE certification in a timely manner • System safety analysis experience including Failure Modes, Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA), Fault Tree Analysis (FTA), and Functional Hazard Analysis (FHA) • Experience with failure investigations • Experience supporting proposal evaluations • Knowledge of systems engineering practices, manufacturing, fabrication and assembly processes, and quality control • Experience with shipyard electrical installation and commissioning • Familiarity with ABS and USCG electrical classification requirements for new construction.
