ul>Category Management & Strategic Sourcing • Develop and implement Category Strategy for Capital Equipment • Perform Market analysis including supplier landscape, capabilities, and technology roadmaps • Participate in supplier segmentation and strategic goal setting to improve value such as high revenue, spend reduction, purchasing efficiency, customer services, and supplier management • Recommend resource levels across procurement sourcing categories, projects, and functions • Drive sourcing requirements and supplier selection through decision matrix in support of technology development, cost reduction, performance improvement efforts, and sustainability • Facilitate co-development activities and collaboration with suppliers • Implement processes to manage partner well-being with key suppliers.
Cost Management & Analysis • Identify and evaluate category-specific savings and revenue levers • Drive category savings and revenue and scorecard metric targets • Provide market intelligence and category price trends to relevant internal partners • Use cost modeling techniques to negotiate for assigned categories based on global benchmarks.
