p>ā¢ Perform complete detailed and accurate health histories review ā¢ Patient records development ā¢ Comprehensive medical assessments ā¢ Order laboratory radiological and diagnostic studies appropriate for complaint, race, sex, and physical condition of the patient ā¢ Formulate medical and nursing diagnoses and institute therapy or referrals of patients to the appropriate health care facilities, agencies, and other resources of the community or physician ā¢ Institute emergency measures and emergency treatment or appropriate stabilization measures in situations such as cardiac arrest, shock, hemorrhage, convulsions, poisoning, and allergic reactions ā¢ Interpret and analyze patient data to determine patient status, patient management, and treatment ā¢ Provide instructions and guidance regarding health care and health care promotion to patients and family significant others ā¢ Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. ā¢ Excellent communicator with staff, patients, and family ā¢ Professional appearance and attitude ā¢ ANCC, AANP, or NCCPA Board Certified - with 1 year ERUC experience preferred ā¢ Active and current Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of practice ā¢ DEA number and state-controlled substance certificate as required ā¢ Able to multi-task and work independently.
