About the Role:Exceptional Pediatric Therapy LLC is looking for a passionate and dedicated Bilingual Speech Language Pathology Assistant to join our growing team in Houston, TX! This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children by supporting speech and language development in a rewarding clinical environment.
Responsibilities:- Implement speech-language therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Provide direct therapy services to pediatric patients targeting articulation, language, fluency, and communication skills
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate session notes in compliance with clinical standards
- Prepare and organize therapy materials, activities, and assistive communication tools
- Collaborate with supervising SLPs, families, and caregivers to support carry-over of therapy goals
- Maintain a safe, engaging, and child-friendly therapy environment
- Participate in team meetings, training, and continuing education opportunities
Requirements:- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences, Speech-Language Pathology, or a related field
- Valid Texas SLPA license or eligibility to obtain licensure
- Prior experience working with pediatric populations preferred
- Knowledge of AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) devices and techniques is a plus
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with children and families
- Ability to work effectively under the supervision of a licensed SLP
- Compassionate, patient, and enthusiastic about supporting child development
