Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) required Completion of a PGY-1 Pharmacy Residency required, OR equivalent clinical hospital experience Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of direct clinical pharmacy experience in a hospital or health-system setting Demonstrated experience participating in interdisciplinary rounds and providing direct patient care At least one (1) to two (2) years of experience providing clinical guidance, project leadership, or informal supervision of pharmacists, students, or residents Active registration as a pharmacist in the District of Columbia, or eligibility for registration through reciprocity Strong written, oral, and presentation skills; proven ability to build consensus among diverse stakeholders with competing priorities Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Access). Provide oversight and clinical expertise to support formulary management processes Participate in the Pharmacy & Therapeutics (P&T) Committee; prepare drug monographs, therapeutic class reviews, and medication-use evaluations (MUEs) Work closely with P&T to evaluate medication error data, identify formulary-related safety issues, and recommend changes Partner with Pharmacy Operations to ensure safe processes for ordering, preparation, compounding, dispensing, and distribution.
