What you will do in this roleYou will supervise registration, medical records, scheduling and serve as the conduit between the surgery center and the central billing officeMonitor and analyze reports for your center and oversee the operational success of the business officeYou will supervise the work flow and reassign your staff as workload demandsYou will evaluate registration, insurance verification and cash posting to determine the integrity of data inputYou will conduct staff meetings and provide guidance and feedback to strengthen your teamCommunicate with the physicians at your center in regard to patient scheduling, registration and insurance verification You will oversee center managed care contracts with third party payers including Medicare and MedicaidWhat you should have for this roleBachelors degree in Business or Health Care Administration desired, extensive or relevant experience accepted in lieu of a degreeMinimum 3 years of experience in a medical office setting highly preferredMinimum two years of supervisory experienceSurgery Center at Coral Springs serves the residents of Broward County and surrounding areas.
