What You Will Do Ā· Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturers instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions Ā· Controls downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques; monitoring compliance Ā· Fabricates repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment Ā· Proficient in process instrumentation including troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and calibration Ā· Read, understand, and troubleshoot using electrical schematics Ā· General electrical troubleshooting of 24v, 110v, 220v and 480v systems Ā· Understand the theory behind process flow. What You Bring: Ā· Highly proficient and experienced in troubleshooting, PLC s, electrical controls, instrumentation Ā· Knowledgeable in the areas of mechanical machinery, steam, boiler, pneumatic & hydraulic operations Ā· Read/understand blueprints, electrical schematics, and equipment manuals Ā· Must be available ALL DAYS, ALL SHIFTS Ā· Boiler and/or Refrigeration experience preferred Ā· Strong oral and written communication skills; must be able to read and follow directions Ā· Must be able to monitor and inspect product and equipment and follow instructions with minimal supervision Ā· Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Processes.
