Perform maintenance tasks on all the equipment own, leased, and operated by Imperial Sugar Company including being cross trained to assist in repairs on the packaging machines, packaging conveyors, palletizers, stretch wrappers, and the sugar feed systems, which includes screw conveyors, bucket elevators, drag conveyors, dense phase systems, airlocks, and etc. Drives Company utility vehicles as necessary in order to perform tasks assigned by plant management, which may include but are not limited to: responding to plant or staff emergencies and/or picking up, dropping off or transporting parts, equipment, instruments, supplies and other materials necessary to ensure that the machinery and equipment in the plant remain in good working order.
