p>Master's Degree in Social Work, Public Health, Nursing, or a related science required Five (5) years of comprehensive experience and demonstrated knowledge in the field of injury prevention Working knowledge of E-codes, ICD-10 codes, ISS, and GCS scoring Demonstrated ability to design, implement, and evaluate trauma awareness and injury prevention programs Demonstrated grant writing experience and the ability to prepare competitive funding applications Excellent training, presentation, marketing, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills High-level problem-solving skills and the ability to work flexibly, creatively, and independently Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications and Windows-based programs. Develop, maintain, and continuously improve the Injury Prevention Center and its supporting database; design and lead injury prevention projects responsive to the needs of internal and external customers Use trauma data - including E-codes, ICD-10 coding, ISS, and GCS - to identify high-impact prevention priorities and shape programming Conduct research relating to trauma prevention and incorporate evidence-based findings into Center programming Ensure the program meets the injury prevention requirements of the American College of Surgeons Level 1 Trauma Center designation.
