p>The Business Department serves approximately 130 students, offering Bachelor's degrees in Accounting, General Business, Global Business, Human Resources, Management, Marketing, Music Business and Technology, and Sport Management. This position may be filled as either a Research and Development Engineer or a non-tenure Research Faculty.\n \nYou will:\n\n Lead a multi-disciplinary, diverse staff in the development, integration, test of high performance navigation systems and sensors\n Plan, staff, and execute programs to ensure all departmental staff are appropriately and sufficiently tasked at all times\n Recruit, retain, and define performance expectations of department staff\n Develop, maintain, and utilize department staff and resources\n Mentorship, professional, and career development of department staff\n Evaluate professional growth through performance reviews\n Foster an environment of collaboration across the department, division, office, and ARL\n Support the execution of the department programs\n Preparation and execution of department budgets\n Proposal and project development\n Support strategic planning initiatives\n Interact and collaborate regularly with program management, program sponsors and stakeholders\n Perform engineering work related to navigation integration and test\n \nFaculty rank will be commensurate with education and experience. Minimally requires a Master's degree in an engineering or science discipline and 1 year related experience.\n \nRequired skills/knowledge include:\n\n Strong engineering knowledge and background in the area of multi-disciplinary engineering design, implementation, and integration\n Experience in rapid prototyping of navigation systems and sensors is highly desired\n Project management skills required include producing project schedules, tracking critical paths, monitoring the progress of technical work, working with program managers and department heads to identify and resolve issues, and creating input for the generation of routine project reports.\n
