Operation, monitoring, maintenance and repair of this facility includes but is not limited to ensuring a productive reliable and comfortable workplace for several hundred employees, maintaining facilities assets (i.e. furniture, appliances, tenant services), safety, comfort, space planning, move coordination, and vendor resources and controls. Serve as the primary coordinator for facilities-related data, including the tracking and reporting of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions; collaborate with global facilities and office managers to ensure data is collected regularly, verified with appropriate documentation, and accurately entered the firm's GHG accounting system.

Working in close partnership with the Institute for Animal Studies (IAS) and campus Engineering team, this position plays a key role in maintaining high-quality research environments and advancing institutional research goals. Job tasks include but is not limited to, weekly structural supervisory sessions, provide work schedules, timesheet approval and requests for time off; coordinating work assignments; evaluating paperwork and documentation including the Security Log and Maintenance Work Order Logbooks. Periodic building inspections checking for any fire safety hazards or violations and all systems related to fire prevention (centralized fire alarm panel, sprinkler system, smoke detectors and fire extinguishers).

Other environmental conditions are exposure to wet or humid conditions, work near moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, work in high precarious places, outdoor weather conditions, extreme cold, extreme heat from 1/3 to 2/3 of the time. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, hear, taste or smell from 1/3 to 2/3 of the time.
