Knowledge of the duties, priorities, commitments, policies, and program goals of the organization sufficient to perform non-routine assignments, such as independently creating and coordinating plans, project briefs, position papers, and various staff actions; managing sub-taskings to subordinate offices to respond to fluctuating headquarters demand; advising other action officers on preparing staff packages, structuring reports, and interpreting new instructions and procedures; or locating and summarizing information from files and documents that requires recognizing which information is or is not relevant to the problem at hand. (2) Works with extensive rules, procedures, or operations applied to executive support assignments in order to perform procedural and administrative work of the office, such as preparing and editing documents, locating and assembling information for various reports, maintaining files/records; and (3) Works with correct grammar, spelling, punctuation, capitalization, and format to be able to prepare and edit written correspondence, reports, and requested source material.
