Oversees the design, construction, water management, real estate functions, and projects that include navigation locks, dams, powerhouses, canals, storm damage protection, bridges, levees, recreational facilities, medical facilities, housing, barracks, training facilities utilities, base realignment and closure (BRAC) sites, homeowner assistance projects, DOD recruiting facilities, projects for other governmental agencies, research and development facilities, and environmental cleanup and restoration. Provides overall direction, program management and execution of the Divisions Civil; Military; Hazardous, Toxic and Radiological Waste (HTRW); Interagency and International Services (IIS Programs), Congressional defense, engineering and technical functions, quality process management, technology transfer, maintenance and development of technical core competencies within the engineering, construction, environmental, civil works operations, real estate, and planning functions.
