Engineering Designer II General AtomicsEngineering Designer IIPoway, CAUnder general supervision with limited review, this position is responsible for providing technical design solutions for a range of difficult design problems for structural products and components of products using computer-aided design (CAD) equipment and technical engineering software such as (NX/Siemens, ProEngineer/CREO, or SOLIDWORKS) and utilize Product Lifecycle Management Systems (PLM) such as (WINDCHILL and TEAMCENTER). Typically requires an Associates degree or a certificate from a recognized organization indicating completion of training in (NX/Siemens, ProEngineer/CREO, or SOLIDWORKS) design software plus ten or more years of progressive experience utilizing CAD software with at least two of those years spent utilizing (NX/Siemens, ProEngineer/CREO, or SOLIDWORKS) engineering design software.
