Job Title: UI/UX Designer/ Product Designer
Location: San Diego, CA/ Kirkland, WA
Duration: 12 Months
Work Type: Hybrid (W2 Contract)
 
Job Overview:
We are seeking a UI/UX Designer to support product teams by taking design concepts and fine-tuning them into production-ready experiences, ensuring clear documentation for seamless engineering handoff. This role sits at the final stages of the design pipeline, collaborating closely with designers, user researchers, business analysts, and software engineers.
 
Key Responsibilities:
· Support product teams by refining design concepts into production-ready experiences with clear engineering handoff documentation
· Collaborate with designers, user researchers, business analysts, and software engineers, especially during final-stage design work
· Participate in concept development and design ideation for new product features, with a focus on execution quality and delivery readiness
· Produce design deliverables including user flows, sketches, wireframes, and journey maps with attention to handoff-ready detail
· Document design meeting outcomes and deliverables with precision for engineering consumption
· Work with Product Strategy to translate product requirements into buildable user experiences, emphasizing design system alignment and execution
 
Must-Have Skills (Non-Negotiable):
· Minimum 3 years of professional design experience, including UX design of enterprise applications, with a focus on execution and delivery
· Demonstrated ability to refine and finalize designs for production, supporting engineering teams through clear documentation and design system usage
· Experience working with design systems to ensure consistency and scalability across product teams
· Strong online or distributable portfolio showcasing production-ready design work and attention to detail
· Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams to prioritize UX issues and support end-of-pipeline design work
· Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript boundaries to ensure feasible design solutions
· Experience in Agile/Lean environments, particularly in roles supporting delivery and finalizing design assets
 
Nice-to-Have / Trainable Skills:
· Mobile design experience
