4-year Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related discipline • 8+ years' experience in manufacturing or technical sales • 5 years management experience in engineering or production environment • Understanding of Customer engineering requirements, including technical drawings • Strong communication skills and ability to effectively collaborate with production teams in Japan • Knowledge of materials, related technology, production processes (Metalizing, brazing, chemical cleaning, assembly, FDA regulations, CE marking etc.), and US supply chain • Strong computer skills: MS Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint • Bi-Lingual language skills preferred (Japanese and English) • Travel up to 25%. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES. • Collaborates with Engineering and Sales Managers to determines where product can be designed or re-designed, or new product lines introduced, to meet new customer or market requirements.
