Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Some of the key responsibilities for this position include: Managing tasks and projects, including planning and implementing investigation and remediation, budgeting, and adhering to schedule, all the while focusing on quality, client satisfaction, and profitability; Leading successful business development efforts, including leading proposal efforts; Developing site-specific mitigation, remedial, and closure strategies for challenging and complex projects, including brownfields redevelopments; Maintaining client contacts, participating in relevant professional organizations, and attending and presenting at industry events; Supervising and mentoring early- and mid-career professionals and managing subcontractors; Overseeing the preparation of reports and client deliverables under applicable state and federal regulations and guidance; Preparing for and participating in meetings with clients, regulators, and other stakeholders; Reviewing and interpretating pending and new regulations and developing strategies for clients; and. You will interact with a multi-disciplinary team of professionals throughout North Carolina and the U.S. and will provide leadership and client development for a wide range of environmental engineering and consulting projects to supplement our existing environmental due diligence, compliance, brownfields redevelopment, vapor intrusion, and remediation services.
