p>PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: • Makes safety the number one priority by leading by example, addressing unsafe conditions & behaviors, and supporting safety improvement initiatives • Supports continuous improvement by participating in events and submitting opportunities for improvements • Set up, and adjustment or replacement of tooling such as form rollers, weldbox, swager buttons, corrugator rings • Ensures quality procedures are met for their role based on the control plan • Communicates with operators, team leads, quality technicians, supervisors, managers, maintenance technicians and engineers • Performs PM and mechanical rebuild on above mentioned equipment • Performs other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• Minimum 5 years of experience in production/industrial environment • Strong mathematical skills • Proficiency with measurements tools, use of caliper, micrometer, test indicators, etc • Familiarity with machine control panels • Basic computer literacy skills • Comfortable navigating in Windows and Microsoft office • Mechanical background • General understanding of welding, swage and forming.
