Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience); Minimum 3 years of HR experience, with exposure to employee relations and day-to-day HR operations; Strong knowledge of U.S. employment laws and HR practices; Experience supporting employee lifecycle processes (onboarding, leave management, terminations); Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment; Comfortable working independently while staying aligned with a remote manager and team; Good communication and interpersonal skills to support managers and employees; Proficiency with HRIS, ATS, and Microsoft Office tools (or similar platforms); Professional HR certifications such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR (asset). The HR Advisor partners closely with leaders and employees primarily located in Minnesota and California, as well as remote team members across multiple states, to provide consistent, high-quality employee experience and support organizational objectives.
