The job of Human Resources Generalist (JC531) is done for the purpose/s of providing the delivery of human resource services with specific responsibility for advising administrators/managers/supervisors in human resources practices; providing training to employees regarding policies, regulations, benefits and contract language; addressing a variety of issues and/or providing support and guidance; assisting in ensuring that human resource functions conform to all applicable regulatory requirements; and recommending improvements to Assistant Director of Human Resources. recruitment, advertising, processing applications, preparing screening criteria, administering tests, scheduling interviews, enrolling new employees, determining employment eligibility such as visa and position required credentials, etc.) for the purpose of meeting district staffing requirements while complying with established guidelines.
