Overlake is seeking an Inventory Specialist to join our team.
Responsible for the overall accuracy and efficiency of the organization's medical supply inventory and inventory systems including both perpetual and expensed based inventories.
Responsible for meeting applicable regulatory requirements from entities such as the FDA, DOH, and Joint Commission and actively participating during surveys.
Effectively obtains the monthly departmental expired supply documentation and audits supply areas throughout the hospital.
Trains staff on inventory functions within the MMIS system and educates staff hospital-wide on the proper care and maintenance of supplies.
Full Time/Day Shift
Monday-Friday
Qualifications
Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor's degree highly desired.
Certified Materials Resource Professional (CMRP) or Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) preferred.
Five years of experience in supply chain logistics required, with emphasis on inventory management preferred.
