Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position requiring 18 months of recent experience and an active GA or Compact RN license.

Details

• Internal Float Pool assignment within a hospital's Progressive Care Unit (PCU) and Telemetry setting
• Night shift schedule with 3x12-hour shifts (36 hours/week)
• No on-call requirements
• May handle ED boarder patients within specialty; if no such patients, will float within specialty between two nearby facilities as needed
• Assigned work location communicated in advance of each shift

Requirements

• Active Georgia or Compact RN license required in hand
• BLS certification required
• Minimum of 18 months of recent RN experience required

Additional Information

• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates not accepted
• Floating between two nearby facilities may be required, staying within specialty
• All time off requests must be submitted upfront prior to assignment start
• RTO requests are limited and subject to strict facility policy, with reduced allowances around holidays
• Only one holiday time-off request permitted per assignment
• Former Emory or Houston system employees must have been separated for at least 1 year, or 18 months if returning to the same facility
