Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position requiring 18 months of experience and a GA or Compact RN license.

Details

• Work in the Transplant PCU unit at a hospital, caring for post-surgical or medically complex patients transitioning from acute or critical care
• NOC shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts per week, 36 hours total
• No on-call requirements

Requirements

• Active GA or Compact RN license required in hand
• Minimum 18 months of PCU or intermediate care nursing experience required

Additional Information

• Provide close monitoring, administer treatments, evaluate patient conditions, and coordinate care with a multidisciplinary healthcare team
• Radius rule of 50 miles applies; local candidates not accepted
• Former employees of this health system must be separated for at least 1 year before returning, or 18 months if returning to the same facility
• RTO is limited to a maximum of 5 days if not near a holiday, or 3 days if on or near a holiday, with only one holiday request allowed
