Description

American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for a Pediatric ICU position requiring Level I trauma experience and an active OH or Compact RN license.

Details

• Work in a Pediatric ICU (PICU) setting within a 30+ bed unit
• Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 7:30
• 13-week assignment length
• Float requirement to NICU, CV PICU, ED, stepdown, and MS units as needed
• Respiratory skills including BiPAP/CPAP management utilized

Requirements

• Active OH State or Compact RN license required in hand
• Current certifications: BLS and PALS required, ACLS preferred
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a 30-bed or greater PICU required
• Level I Trauma experience required
• Recent experience in a pediatric hospital required
• First-time travelers considered with closer to 3 years of PICU experience and recent Level I trauma experience
• Two supervisory references required at time of consideration, with at least one manager or supervisor titled reference

Additional Information

• Provide critical care nursing services to pediatric ICU patients
• Float to other units as needed based on facility assignment needs
• Compliance with facility float expectations required
• Candidates must not have worked in a permanent role at the facility within the last 2 years
• No local candidates allowed within a 60-mile radius of the facility
