Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Operating Room position requiring active MA licensure and Ophthalmology/ENT experience.

Details

• Work in the 6th Floor Surgical Suites of a hospital setting
• Ophthalmology and ENT surgical case experience required
• Day shift schedule from 07:00-17:30
• 13-week assignment length
• Epic charting system used

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required, no pending or conditional licenses accepted
• Current BLS certification (AHA only)
• Primary source verification of professional license required within 30 days of start, including NURSYS and BON verification
• Ophthalmology and ENT experience required

Additional Information

• Provide immediate and long-term nursing care for surgical patients utilizing the nursing process
• Perform accurate patient assessments, point-of-care testing, and safe medication administration
• Communicate patient status effectively during clinical rounds and shift reports
• Utilize evidence-based nursing practices and prioritize patient care needs
• Flu vaccination required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed
• Local candidates residing within 60 miles of Boston are accepted at a reduced rate
• RTO must be disclosed at time of consideration
