Details

  • Works in the General Operating Room unit
  • Rotational day/night and variable shift schedule on a 4x10 or 4x12 basis
  • Day shifts run 7a-5:30p (Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri) and 9a-7:30p (Wed) for 4x10, or 7a-7:30p (Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri) and 9a-9:30p (Wed) for 4x12
  • Night shifts run 7p-5:30a (Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri) and 9p-7:30a (Wed) for 4x10, or 7p-7:30a (Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri) and 9p-9:30a (Wed) for 4x12
  • Weekend shifts are scheduled as 12-hour shifts, with 8 or 10-hour shifts scheduled during the same week to meet contracted hours
  • Call requirements included
  • 13-week assignment length
  • Uses Epic for charting

Requirements

  • Active MA RN license required; conditional or pending licenses not accepted
  • Both NURSYS and BON verification required for nursing license
  • AHA-issued certifications only
  • Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
  • Level I trauma experience required
  • Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed

Additional Information

  • Provide perioperative nursing care within a Level I trauma hospital setting
  • Local candidates accepted; those residing within 60 miles of the facility are considered local and subject to a reduced rate
  • Time tracked via UKG/Kronos system
  • Parking not validated at Boston locations; public transportation or paid public parking (approximately $17-$22 daily) available
