Registered Nurse - Operating Room | Travel | Concord, NC

Assignment Overview

Join our team as a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room. We're seeking candidates with a strong background in surgical nursing, particularly those experienced in trauma and specialized surgeries. The ideal candidate is a self-driven team player with the ability to accommodate mid-night case requests.

Assignment Details

  • Start Date: As soon as possible
  • Work Modality: On-site
  • Shift Details: Various shift times including 7a-7p, 9a-9p, 11a-11p
  • Call required: Average of 6 call shifts per 6-week schedule (45-minute response time)
  • Weekend rotation every 4th weekend; weekend shifts may be scheduled or on-call
  • Holiday Expectations: Travelers will work 75% of holidays
  • Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2160 (negotiable)

Responsibilities

  • Circulate in trauma, ortho trauma, spine, vascular, and various surgical cases
  • Provide quality patient care during surgical procedures
  • Act as Charge RN and maintain scrubbing proficiency
  • Collaborate with clinical supervisors, charge nurses, and other support staff

Qualifications

Required:

  • Minimum 5 years of OR nursing experience
  • BLS certification
  • Current NC RN license

Preferred:

  • CNOR certification
