Assignment Overview

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with expertise in Emergency Department (ED) care. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of ED experience and be comfortable working with a diverse patient population ranging from pediatric to geriatric. This is a fast-paced, high-acuity environment that requires strong assessment and critical-thinking skills.

  • Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2160 (negotiable)

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality nursing care to a diverse ED population
  • Stabilize trauma patients for transfer
  • Administer medications including TNK/TPA
  • Perform conscious sedation
  • Interpret cardiac rhythms and manage critical care drips

Qualifications

Required:

  • Minimum of 2 years of ED experience
  • Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS), Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI)
  • General ED skillset including cardiac rhythm interpretation and PIV starts

Preferred:

  • Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)

PEL/VIP Job ID #65651065. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
