Assignment Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Registered Nurse in the MedSurg/Tele unit, providing care in a fast-paced environment aimed at decompressing the emergency department and other specialties. We are seeking candidates with a solid background in Med/Tele nursing to deliver high-quality care for adult and geriatric populations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care for adults and geriatrics with various medical conditions
  • Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms
  • Manage and administer medications, including cardiac drips
  • Perform trach care, PIV starts, and chest tube management
  • Assist with NGT placement and drain/tube management

Qualifications

Required:

  • 2 years Med/Tele RN experience
  • BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
  • General Med/Tele skillset including stroke experience

Preferred:

  • Experience with travelers is preferred but not required
