Job Opportunity – Medical/Surgical Telemetry RN – Wisconsin

Start Date: October 12, 2026

Location: Madison, Wisconsin

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Evening/Night, 12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM. Weekend and holiday rotations based on operational need. Two weekends per six-week schedule period required (additional weekends available if desired). 20 hours of orientation provided.

Requirements:
  • Active Wisconsin RN license or compact state RN license required
  • Two years of acute care experience within the last three years required
  • Previous travel nursing experience required
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • BLS certification required (American Heart Association ONLY)
  • Must successfully pass telemetry competency exam prior to start date with strict passing criteria including 100% identification of lethal rhythms and 80% overall score
  • Proficiency in telemetry monitoring, IV therapy, medication administration including heparin and insulin protocols, blood product administration, and management of complex medical conditions
  • Experience with various medical equipment and procedures including PCA pumps, chest tubes, central lines, wound vacs, and tracheostomy care preferred
  • Community hospital experience preferred
  • Must reside 50 miles or more from facility location
