Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (Med/Surg Telemetry) – Wisconsin
Start Date: October 26, 2026
Location: Madison, Wisconsin

Schedule: 12-hour evening/night shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM. Weekend and holiday rotations based on operational need. Two weekends per six-week schedule period (additional weekends available upon request). 20 hours of orientation provided.

Requirements:
- Active Wisconsin RN license or Compact RN license required
- Minimum two years of acute care experience within the last three years in Med/Surg or Telemetry specialty
- Epic charting system experience required
- BLS certification required (American Heart Association only)
- Previous travel nursing experience preferred
- Must pass telemetry competency exam prior to start date with strict passing criteria including 100% identification of lethal rhythms and 80% overall passing score
- Community hospital experience preferred
- Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
Clinical Skills:
- Telemetry monitoring and interpretation of dysrhythmias
- Blood product administration and IV insulin protocols
- Central line management, PICC line care, and port access
- Wound care and wound vac management
- Pre/post-operative care including total joint replacement, bariatric surgery, and thyroidectomy
- Tracheostomy care, chest tube management, and oxygen administration
- Management of feeding tubes, colostomy/ileostomy care, and continuous bladder irrigation
- PCA pumps, heparin and insulin administration
- Participation in Rapid Response and Code teams
