Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse with a focus on Orthopedic Trauma patients to join our team. This position operates on a night shift schedule, offering three 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with a weekend rotation of one in three weekends and holidays as needed. Candidates interested in a four 12-hour shift schedule will also be considered.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients with orthopedic trauma.
• Monitor patients' conditions and assess their needs.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on care plans and health management.

Qualifications

• Active RN license is required.
• Minimum two years of experience in Medical-Surgical/Telemetry nursing is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association is required.
• Candidates must pass a telemetry test prior to starting the position.

Shift & Schedule

This position requires night shifts of three 12-hour hours each, from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. A weekend rotation of one in three and designated holidays will be part of the schedule. We are open to discussing an alternative schedule of four 12-hour shifts for interested candidates.
