Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse with experience in acute care to join our team. This position involves working night shifts, specifically from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with a flexible schedule that includes weekends and holiday rotations based on operational needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced medical-surgical and telemetry environment.
  • Monitor patients' conditions and provide appropriate interventions.
  • Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in patient assessments and education.
  • Maintain accurate and updated patient records.

Qualifications

  • Two years of acute care nursing experience within the last three years is required.
  • Experience with the Epic electronic health record system is mandatory.
  • Valid Wisconsin RN license or a compact RN license is required.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association is required.
  • Completion of a telemetry test is mandatory prior to starting the position.

Work Environment

This position is based in a medical-surgical unit that focuses on both patient care and telemetry monitoring. The role requires adaptability and teamwork to meet the needs of patients and uphold the highest standards of nursing practice.
