Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care within a Progressive Care / Intermediate Care (IMC/PCU/Stepdown) setting as part of a resource float pool team
- Float across multiple adult health units, ranging from Observation to IMC/PCU level care, across two hospital campuses
- Deliver care to adult inpatient populations, including patients in expanded ED spaces and PACU areas awaiting unit bed placement
- Adapt quickly to varying unit environments and patient acuity levels while maintaining high standards of clinical care
- Complete required facility learning modules prior to the start of the assignment
Required Qualifications
- Active Arizona RN license with no disciplinary actions or hits on record (verified within the last 30 days)
- Minimum of 24 months of PCU experience, with experience within the last 12 months
- Active BLS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI
- Active ACLS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI
- Valid driver's license required to verify non-Arizona residency (Arizona residents are not eligible for this assignment)
- PCU skills checklist completed within the last 12 months
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous travel nursing experience is highly preferred
- Flexibility with shifts, units, and facility locations is strongly advantageous for placement
- Experience in high-acuity academic medical center or trauma center environments
