Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)

Job Overview

An opportunity exists for an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse to join a dynamic team, providing critical care in a fast-paced environment. This role requires commitment to excellence, adaptability, and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.

Schedule

  • Night Shift: Options for 3x12 or 4x12 hour schedules
  • Every other weekend and holiday required

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department.
  • Perform triage and assess patients in critical condition.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Float within skillset as needed.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Emergency Department with at least 45,600 annual visits.
  • Current certifications required:
    • ACLS
    • BLS
    • NIHSS
    • PALS
  • Must successfully pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum overall score of 80%, including a score of 100% on lethal rhythms.
  • Cerner EMR experience is required.
  • Triage experience is preferred.
  • Previous travel nursing experience is required.

Additional Requirements

  • All employees must receive the Flu vaccine.
