Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, ICU – Tyler, TX 75701

Start Date: November 3, 2026

Location: Tyler, Texas

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00), 6 weekend shifts per 6-week period. Patient ratio of 1:2. Float based on schedule as needed.

Highlights:

• Medical-Surgical ICU with 16 beds and average daily census of 14 patients
• 91-day travel assignment in a dynamic critical care environment
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and phlebotomy
• Epic charting system with 12-hour orientation provided
• Specialized equipment including CRRT (NXXT Stage) and advanced critical care technology
• Care for adult and geriatric patient populations with complex medical-surgical needs

Requirements:

• Active RN license (state or compact license required at time of submission)
• Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS; NIHSS and PALS preferred
• Epic charting system experience required
• Experience with patient ratios of 2-3 patients preferred
• Previous charge experience, community hospital, LTAC, and Trauma Level I/II experience preferred
• Proficiency in critical care skills including ventilator management, arterial line management, central line care, vasoactive drip titration, and blood product administration
• Must complete core compliance items and labs within 48 hours of contract signing
• Geographic restrictions apply; candidates residing in certain local counties are not eligible
