Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, ICU – Tyler, TX 75701

Start Date: November 3, 2026

Location: Tyler, Texas

Schedule: Night shift, 4x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), with 36 or 48 hour weekly options. Weekend coverage required (6 shifts per 6-week period). Patient ratio of 1:2.

Highlights:

• Medical-Surgical ICU with 16 beds and average daily census of 14 patients
• 91-day travel assignment with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more
• Epic charting system with 12-hour orientation provided
• Work with advanced equipment including CRRT (NXXT Stage) and manage complex critical care patients
• Collaborative environment with physical therapy, radiology, phlebotomy, and interpretation services on-site

Requirements:

• Active RN license (state or compact license required at time of submission)
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS; NIHSS and PALS preferred
• Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Experience with 2:1 patient ratios preferred
• Proficiency in critical care skills including ventilator management, vasoactive drip titration, arterial line management, central line care, and blood product administration
• Must not reside in the following Texas counties: Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, Panola, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Camp, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus, or Morris
