Start Date: November 3, 2026
Location: Tyler, Texas
Schedule: Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (07:00 - 19:00), 91-day assignment
Highlights:
- Level I Trauma ICU with 14 rooms and 16 beds
- Manageable patient ratios of 1:2 across all shifts
- Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and more
- Epic charting system utilized throughout the unit
- Float opportunities to ICU, IMC, and Telemetry units as needed
- 36-hour orientation provided to ensure successful onboarding
Requirements:
- Active RN license (state or compact license required at time of submission)
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
- Level I Trauma ICU experience required
- Previous travel nursing experience required
- Epic charting system experience required
- Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS required; PALS and TNCC preferred
- Proficiency in BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, ventilated patient care, central line management, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, IV starts and maintenance
- Experience with 1:2 patient ratios preferred
- Candidates must not reside in the following Texas counties: Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, Panola, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Camp, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus, or Morris
