Description

American Traveler is hiring an ED RN for a 13-week night shift assignment requiring TNCC, ENPC, ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications.

Details

• Emergency Department setting with 32+ beds and 117 staff members
• Patient ratio of 4:1
• Uses Meditech EMR
• Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Weekend rotation required (4 shifts per schedule)
• No call requirements
• Performs procedures including LP, intubations, TNK administration, laceration repair, suture removal, and splinting

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, TNCC, ENPC, and NIHSS, all in hand by start date
• Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Department experience preferred
• No certifications may expire within the first 30 days of assignment start
• No gaps in work history equaling 90 days or more within the past 12 months

• Team-oriented environment valuing staff who anticipate patient and department needs
• Scrub color is navy blue, with navy blue zip-up sweaters permitted; pullover sweatshirts are not acceptable attire
