Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department contract role requiring TNCC, ENPC, ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications with rotating night and weekend shifts.

Details

• 13-week contract assignment in a 32+ bed Emergency Department
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM with rotating nights and weekends
• 4 weekend shifts required per schedule
• No on-call requirements
• Patient ratio of 4:1
• Uses Meditech EMR
• Team includes CNCs, RNs, Medics, and PCTs across shifts
• Common procedures include LPs, intubations, TNK administration, laceration repair, suture removal, and splinting

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Current BLS, ACLS, ENPC, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications required by start date
• Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Department experience required
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration (Canadian SSNs not accepted)
• One professional reference required
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

• Deliver emergency care across a wide range of trauma and acute presentations
• Team environment values strong collaboration and anticipating patient and department needs
• Scrub color requirement is navy blue, with navy blue zip-up sweaters permitted
• Pullover sweatshirts are not acceptable attire
• Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted
