Responsibilities:
Assist with the daily setup and breakdown of practices, workouts, and team activities
Prepare the court and necessary equipment before practices and workouts
Assist with basketballs, cones, towels, water, practice gear, and other equipment
Assist coaches and staff with drills during practice as needed
Help maintain organization and cleanliness of the court, equipment areas, and team spaces
Assist with game-day setup, operations, and postgame breakdown
Support home games, practices, and other program events
Assist with recruiting operations as assigned
Assist with laundry and organization of practice and game gear as needed
Help with filming or other practice/game responsibilities when assigned
Maintain a professional attitude and represent Tulane Women's Basketball appropriately
Communicate schedule conflicts and availability with staff in a timely manner
Perform other duties as assigned by the coaching staff or Director of Operations
Qualifications:
Current Tulane University student
Dependable, punctual, organized, and willing to learn
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Ability to follow directions and take initiative when appropriate
Professional attitude when interacting with student-athletes, coaches, staff, and visitors
Basketball knowledge or previous experience is preferred but not required
Must be available for assigned practices, home games, and other team activities
Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends based on the team schedule

The Tulane Women''s Basketball Day Camp provides young athletes with the opportunity to develop their basketball skills while learning teamwork, leadership, and sportsmanship. Student assistants play an important role in creating a fun, engaging, and memorable camp experience. This position also helps student employees develop career readiness competencies identified by the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE), including communication, teamwork, leadership, professionalism, and critical thinking.
