Student Assistant with Equipment (Football)
Hourly Pay: $10/hr
Job Description:
Collaborate with Equipment Managers, Coaches, and staff within the football program.
Assist sport equipment operations in providing services to student-athletes through customer service, inventory management, and laundry services.
Set up the field for practices/games and clean up afterwards.
Be present during practices, home games, and potential travel to away games.
Perform designated tasks as directed by equipment staff.
Handle daily/weekly tasks in the equipment room outside of practice/game times.
Responsibilities Breakdown:
60% Assistance with set up, breakdown, and equipment logistics during practices
25% Equipment room maintenance and organization
10% Game coverage including logistics, set up, breakdown, and operations.
5% administrative tasks including sorting, inventory, and organization
Hours per Week:
School Year (Fall) 25-27 hrs/week (broken up into 5, 4 hour shifts)
School Year (Spring) ~20 hrs/week
Be available for all practices and all home games (opportunity to travel to away games)

Requirements:
Flexible Schedule (specifically in the morning)
Positive attitude
Ability to work well with others (Equipment Managers, other Student Assistants, Athletes, Coaches, and other support staff)
Willingness to learn (from Equipment Managers, and other Student Assistants)
Physical demands (Standing, walking, and running for long periods of time. Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy objects)
Ability to work quickly and efficiently
Communication and organizational skills
