Job TitlePrivate Equity-Backed Specialty Pharmaceutical Account ManagerJob DescriptionOwn and grow strategic relationships across the Long-Term Care (LTC) ecosystem, including LTC pharmacies, distributors, skilled nursing facilities (SNFs), assisted living groups, and hospice providers. Oversee the growth of an underdeveloped territory, driving both new business acquisition and expansion within existing accounts. Identify, pursue, and win new commercial opportunities, building a strong regional presence from the ground up. Drive account growth by increasing product adoption, deepening partnerships, and delivering sustained revenue expansion. Lead and execute contracting efforts, ensuring strong pull-through and activation across LTC partners. Partner with customers to introduce and position a portfolio of therapies, securing formulary access and accelerating adoption. Collaborate cross-functionally with market access, supply chain, and leadership teams to align strategy and execute effectively in the field. Develop and execute strategic territory and account plans to expand market penetration and exceed growth targets. Own forecasting, pipeline management, and CRM reporting to provide clear visibility into performance. Proven track record of driving revenue growth through both new account acquisition and expansion of existing accounts. Experience working with Long-Term Care (LTC) customers, including pharmacies, institutional providers, or distributor networks. Strong understanding of contracting, formulary access, and pull-through dynamics within the pharmacy or institutional sales model. Demonstrated ability to manage complex, high-value accounts and build relationships with senior decision-makers. Comfortable operating in a greenfield or underdeveloped territory, with a willingness to build a book of business from scratch. Experience supporting product launches or expanding portfolio adoption within existing customers. Background in CNS, cardiovascular, or therapies relevant to geriatric populations is preferred.
