About the Role:Precision Door Service is looking for an organized and energetic Office Assistant/Dispatcher to join our team in Kansas City, MO! In this role, you'll be the backbone of our daily operations — connecting customers with our skilled technicians and keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes.
Responsibilities:- Dispatch technicians to residential and commercial service calls efficiently and accurately
- Answer inbound customer calls, schedule appointments, and provide exceptional customer service
- Maintain and update scheduling software and service logs throughout the day
- Communicate with field technicians to monitor job status and adjust schedules as needed
- Process work orders, invoices, and basic data entry tasks
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and follow-ups in a professional manner
- Support office staff with general administrative duties as needed
Requirements:- Prior experience in dispatching, customer service, or an administrative office role preferred
- Strong multitasking and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with basic computer software including scheduling or CRM tools
- Ability to remain calm, professional, and solution-focused under pressure
