About the Role:
Precision Door Service is looking for an organized and energetic Office Assistant/Dispatcher to join our team in Kansas City, MO! In this role, you'll be the backbone of our daily operations — connecting customers with our skilled technicians and keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes.
Responsibilities:
  • Dispatch technicians to residential and commercial service calls efficiently and accurately
  • Answer inbound customer calls, schedule appointments, and provide exceptional customer service
  • Maintain and update scheduling software and service logs throughout the day
  • Communicate with field technicians to monitor job status and adjust schedules as needed
  • Process work orders, invoices, and basic data entry tasks
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and follow-ups in a professional manner
  • Support office staff with general administrative duties as needed
Requirements:
  • Prior experience in dispatching, customer service, or an administrative office role preferred
  • Strong multitasking and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with basic computer software including scheduling or CRM tools
  • Ability to remain calm, professional, and solution-focused under pressure
  • Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
