We are seeking a professional, friendly, and organized individual to join a busy pain practice as the first point of contact for patients and visitors. This role is essential in creating a welcoming experience, supporting efficient front office operations, and helping ensure smooth patient flow throughout the day.

Responsibilities

  • Greet patients and visitors in a courteous, professional manner
  • Provide accurate information as appropriate
  • Schedule, confirm, and update patient appointments
  • Check patients in and out, verify demographic and insurance information, and collect required paperwork and co-pays/co-insurance
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk area
  • Support patient registration, intake, and documentation processes
  • Coordinate with clinical and administrative team members to support daily operations
  • Handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality at all times
  • Assist with scanning, filing, faxing, and other administrative tasks as needed
  • Provide excellent customer service and help address patient questions or concerns

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a medical front office, reception, or customer service role preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable using computers, phone systems, and electronic scheduling or medical record systems
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
  • Understanding of confidentiality and HIPAA compliance expectations

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in a specialty medical office or pain management setting
  • Knowledge of insurance verification and patient registration processes
