    Description

About Open Opportunity FundWe invest in B2B software and Agentic AI companies building the infrastructure businesses run on, across Enterprise IT, fintech, and people infrastructure. Our portfolio includes more than 70 companies.

We're a small, focused team. Everyone is expected to think like an owner, move quickly, and take real responsibility for their work. The Managing Partner works directly with founders, LPs, and co-investors every day, and this role sits at the center of all of it.

    The Role

We're hiring an Executive Assistant to support the firm and the Managing Partner across calendar, travel, investor and portfolio relations, events, and follow-through.

You've done this before for senior executives, so you know the job: keep the calendar honest, keep the trips smooth, keep the follow-ups from slipping, and handle it all with discretion and good judgment. What sets you apart is that you're comfortable with technology. You use AI tools like Claude and ChatGPT as naturally as email, and you're always looking for a faster way to get things done.

    What You'll Do

    • Manage the Managing Partner's calendar across LPs, founders, prospective deals, and the team, and prioritize what earns time.
    • Help with investor and portfolio relations, including outreach, meeting requests, scheduling, follow-ups, and roadshows.
    • Book and manage complex travel, domestic and international, with meeting prep built in.
    • Plan and run firm events, from investor gatherings and dinners to team off-sites and conference logistics.
    • Keep agendas, priorities, commitments, and approvals current and moving.
    • Maintain Salesforce, handle expenses, and prepare clean PowerPoint decks and executive materials.

    What You Bring

    • 5+ years as an Executive Assistant supporting senior leaders
    • Everyday fluency with AI tools and a habit of adopting new technology fast
    • Command of complex calendars, travel, and events
    • Sharp judgment, discretion, and professionalism
    • Strong writing and communication
    • Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel; Salesforce and Notion a strong plus
    • Venture, private equity, financial services, or tech experience preferred

    Benefits

    • Medical, dental, and vision coverage
    • 401(k)
    • Flexible PTO
    • Hybrid work
